  The opening and closing part of the forging steel flange stop valve is a plug type valve disc, and the sealing surface is plane or cone-shaped, and the disc is moved linearly along the center line of the fluid. Depending on the type of movement of the disc, the valve seat port is proportional to the valve stroke. Because the valve stem of this kind ofvalve features reletively shortopening or closing stroke, moreover has the very reliable cut off function, and in addition the change of the valve seat port is in positive proportion to the valve flap travel, it is very suitable for the adjustment of the flow. This type of valve is therefore ideal for cutting or regulating,and throttling. Forging steel flange stop valve is widely used in environmental protection, power generation, chemical industry, petroleum, heat treatment and other industries. Its pplicable temperature and pressure range are very large, but common in middle and small caliber pipeline.
